About Our Doctors

In her free time, Dr. Hughes enjoys decorating her new home. She is a dog-lover and recently adopted two rescue basset hounds.

She is also an avid baseball (and Yankees) fan.

Dr. Hughes is fluent in German, having majored in German literature in college and studying German abroad at the Freie Universitat in Berlin, where she made two life long German friends.

She played the violin from ages 8 to 18, but never liked to practice. Her mother still has the violin, but if Dr. Hughes plays again, she will play the fiddle, as she loves country music.
